Yeah, I know, New Year's was last week. But I figured that since it's sorta my "3000 view milestone", now would be a nice time to mention it.
(Have I seriously not written a journal in a year and a half?)

It's sad...I come on DeviantArt every day, and I haven't uploaded anything in the longest time. Is it because I don't have anything to upload anymore? I think so. So I guess, my resolution this year, is to make at least one piece worth uploading a month. Or even something not worth uploading, something that I won't care what anyone thinks of it, or how proud I am of it.

Yeah. That's my resolution.

I hope I actually stick by it.

I'm very proud.

Especially considering the very few pieces of art I even have on here.
I'm really hoping to get some more art done during the summer.

I just haven't had the time lately. Or inspiration.

Argh. I hate that frustrating feeling I get when I want to draw but I lack the inspiration.

On the plus side, I have CS5 for when I do get the time and/or inspiration.
And I need to learn how to use it. Because right now I only know how to use the paint tool.

*scrambles off to find some tutorials*

I've been having so much artists' block lately.
I have no ideas and when I do, I don't feel like I can put the effort into it.

The only thing I have the patience for lately is pixel art.

Sooooo...I decided that I'm gonna take requests. So, yeah, if you want a pixel avatar, just comment and say what you want.
I can do animated, but nothing very fancy (things such as flashing hearts and stuff like that are all I can really do)

I have a bunch of these Japanese beading books. I can't actually read them, but I understand the pictures in the instructions, so that hasn't been a problem.
But I've been having trouble getting certain beads that I need from English websites.
I found a Japanese website that has everything I need, but I just need to find out if it ships internationally.
Google Translate's just not working well with it.

If anyone could help, let me know and I'll give you the site name. I'd really appreciate it.

So, I didn't end up getting Dalizie. I'm not so disappointed, I didn't think it would be me and she went to an amazing owner anyhow.
So I created a green Shoyru, because I didn't want my design for Dalizie to go to waste.
Anyways, my design for Dalizie looked as much like a shoyru as it did a draik.

In real life, I got my sewing machine fixed. Turns out, it wasn't broken, I just threaded the needle and bobbin wrong n.n
Fluffensmurf is almost done. He just needs some finishing touches like having his head properly fastened on (he doesn't have a very strong neck...)
And he'll be done! I'm hoping to post a picture of him later this evening. I'm very proud of it, except for the fact that his eyes are uneven and his nose is crooked. But he's still cute and fluffy :3
